Our participation in the Hult Prize Global Incubator was an important chapter in Cocoa Potash’s development. We arrived with a clear problem to solve and left with sharper questions, stronger relationships, and a more disciplined plan.
Mentorship and validation
The program brought our team into a community of founders and mentors from around the world. Their feedback helped us test the assumptions behind the business and explain the platform in a way that customers, cooperatives, and partners could understand.
That process reinforced the core of the company: recover useful minerals from agricultural byproducts, build production close to the source, and create value on both sides of the supply chain.
Scaling the platform
The incubator pushed us to think beyond a single product. Potassium carbonate is the current output, but the larger opportunity is a modular platform that can work with more feedstocks, support more locations, and expand into a wider mineral family over time.
It also sharpened our focus on execution: steady feedstock relationships, repeatable operations, clear specifications, and growth that benefits the communities supplying the material.
The work continues
The Hult Prize journey did not change our purpose. It helped us state it more clearly. Cocoa Potash is building a cleaner mineral supply chain from agricultural byproducts—and we are doing it one relationship, one site, and one reliable output at a time.
